Why I Started This Platform?

I have been wanting to start a website about my story and my situation for a long time but I have never had the guts for it until now. A few years ago I would never tell anyone that I was deaf, I was severely insecure about it and almost embarrassed, to be honest with you. 

One day I had the realization that I am actually blessed to be deaf because I can use it as a tool to help and influence other people around me. I ultimately want to be able to spread the message that being deaf is not a disability but rather just makes you unique. I strive to be a professional soccer player, who is deaf and use that as inspiration for those in similar positions who may be holding back due to being hard of hearing.
